Foundation reports have tremendous flexibility. Constructing the report with base elements is the key. All reports run with their base elements, however, they can be built upon to produce a more robust report - and / or filtered to produce a more refined report.

Example #1 - Adding data:
Let's say you want to add the Referral Source to a sales report. Run the Sales Report and select the "Display All" option for the Tag - Referral Source. The report displays with the base data items along with an added column for the referral source. Add as many Tags to a report as desired.
Example # 2 - Filtering:
Using the same sales report, but this time you want to view only your sales prospects in San Francisco. Run the Sales Report and select the Tag for City - San Francisco. The reports displays with the base data items
for accounts only in San Francisco. Any data elements can be filtered.
By using the client defined Tags/Filters, reports can be filtered to produce refined results, and / or add additional data for a more robust report.
