Stephen Blatney is a versatile and results-driven professional with 25+ years of experience across multiple industries including US Brokerage, Financial Technology, Investment Banking and Private Equity.
Throughout his career in business development, sales, or operations, he has consistently generated new business, increased revenues, while managing and streamlining internal processes. Much of his success is due to his passion for organization, incredible attention to detail and superb communication and follow-up skills.
Early in his career, Stephen established his sales credentials and structured business approach working at Xerox Corporation and Bloomberg L.P. While at Bloomberg he transitioned into Bloomberg Tradebook, a pioneer in the US electronic equity trading industry. At Tradebook, he was responsible for managing all broker dealers in New York City, consisting of over 1,000 Bloomberg terminals and users.
He leveraged that electronic experience into additional senior management positions at The Island ECN, The NASDAQ Stock Market, Bank of America and Thomas Weisel Partners (TWP). In those roles Stephen led the effort to expand into additional markets with new products - creating departments and building out these sales teams. At Island and TWP he launched their direct institutional electronic offerings and was responsible for managing all sales, marketing, operations, technology and connectivity aspects of the business.
Recently, Stephen transitioned his strong abilities of building businesses and developing relationships into the capital markets industry. He is currently active in both origination and syndication in equity and debt markets – focusing on verticals such as Energy & Infrastructure, Aviation & Rail, Real Estate, Renewables and Specialty Finance. He has successfully completed multiple transactions with a variety of sponsors.
At AccTRACKER, Stephen draws on his extensive experience and network to assist the company in developing a best in class CRM solution for small and medium sized businesses.
